Synthetic Turf Pitches
Artificial surfaces for Rugby have
finally arrived!

The IRB have recognised
the need for artificial surfaces that meet the unique needs of
rugby and have produced draft document outlining those requirements.
Both rugby codes impose some
unique demands on synthetic turf in terms of tear resistance,
impact absorption and skin abrasion. We can meet these demands
at the highest level and have installed surfaces meeting the
IRB draft requirements at London Wasps and Worcester Warriors.
ALC recognise that budget constraints
might necessitate a club or school to require a surface that
can meet more general needs. We can supply surfaces that will
allow rugby, football and general training, some of which have
been tested and meet both IRB and FIFA two star
requirements.
All the rugby surfaces we offer
are '3G' sand and rubber-filled, which allow the use of studded
footwear if required. Soft polyethylene fibres minimise the risk
of friction burns and yet possess great strength and durability
to produce surfaces suitable for both games and training.

Natural Turf Pitches
As a company
our origins are from the natural grass market. This has given
us a great deal of experience in full pitch construction and
improvements to existing pitches, such as land drainage, gravel
banding/sand slitting and soil amelioration.
Whether your interest is in
natural or synthetic surfaces, we will be pleased
to make a site inspection to discuss your requirements. |
