County Concrete

Designers produced this shape from the parameters that the "Laws" and the "firing game" have imposed. A solid concrete unit with internal reinforcing steel grid, it is 600mm long with a weight of 53kg each. The preformed concrete corner unit is 75kg. The top edge is 76mm wide and will allow protective material to be fitted and continue down the return (impact) face. Paving slabs have a support ridge at the rear 50cm down. The ditch channel is 300mm (12ins) wide. Bowls Bumper or Wooden battens can be fitted to this or the County GRC using the locator holes provided in each unit.

County GRC

Made in B.S. Glass Reinforced Concrete, the 1.2m (4ft) long straight require fewer units per side. Both the straights and the corner units utilise the unique interlocking OGEE - M&F joint adding stiffness and stability to the frame surround. The top ledge is 70mm wide. Strengthened recesses at the rear add to the positive fixing process. Weight of unit is 42kg. The ditch channel is 300mm(12ins) wide. Rear face Wood and Jack protection is required. (Price per green 4m x 39m).

County AG

Club Concrete

The third design - in 1992 incorporated improvements to assist in the continuity of the game. Over 100 sets have been sold of this concrete unit incorporating a steel reinforcing grid and although it only has a 225mm gulley many clubs still order them to refurbish their green surrounds. 610mm long, this 54kg unit has a higher back than the minimum and incorporates a rounded angled green edge supporting the turf.

Club GRC

A standard green requires only 38 units of our 1-metre long straight in BS Glass Reinforced Concrete, a time saving for Contractors and Installers. A tongue and groove system ensures alignment when installing. Minor adjustments in length are achieved with a disc cutter. Pre-formed corners complete the frame. Impact protection material or Bowls Bumpers are required for the rear face. Unit weight 27kg.

Club Concrete Add-ons

Those greens that had low profile channels need to ensure the difference in levels of green and bank conform to the Law. This specially profiled, steel grid reinforced, concrete slab fits over most known units. Attached with & quot; Concrete super-glue & quot; which adheres with a stronger bond than the original concrete. Rear face protection required and recommended to cover the joint between the two units. Benefits are: no loss of playing time, fitted any time of year and green not disturbed. Unit Weight is 35kg.

Green Grid Liner

Interwoven PVC lattice matting. The grid size stops Woods but does not allow the Jack to drop through. Set comprises twelve lengths at 13m long (three per side). Cost: 225mm wide (3 lengths per side of green) £1631.00 per set

Jubilee Liner

Heavy duty black rubber honeycomb matting supplied in 300mm by 910mm fully interlocking sections. Matting is reversible offering two different surface profiles.

Loose Rubber Chunks

For the base of a ditch (50mm – 5mm grade) and supplied in 25kg bags.Cost: 1 tonne (typical green) laid loose in ditch £460.00

Ditch Fill Bags

4mm black hexagonal mesh for loose rubber fill or corks. 1m long with draw cord/tie at one end for filling with ¾ tonne of rubber per green. Standard set = 160 bags per green.
