Ditch Channels

All prices are based on a standard 38.4 x 38.4m green please contact us for quotations for alternative sizes. Delivery is excluded and for guidelines only where stated.

County Concrete

Designed with a forward sloping back face to conform with EBA "Laws" and as an answer to the "firing game”. A solid concrete unit with internal steel grid reinforcing. Straight units are 600mm long weighing 52kg each. The corner units are 90kg. The top edge is 40mm wide providing a solid stepping surface. The ditch channel is 300mm (12ins) wide internally at the base yet narrower at the top making stepping on and off the green easier. Protective artificial grass ditch facing can be fitted to the impact face using adhesives. Additional bowls bumpers or wooden battens can be fitted if required using the predrilled holes with plugs and screws.

County GRC

Similar in shape to the county concrete but made of lighter weight easier to handle and install Glass Reinforced Cement (GRC), each straight unit is 1.2m (4ft) long meaning fewer units per green? A thin vertical front edge allows easy positioning of the unit against existing concrete or metal green edges with minimal damage to the green edge. OGEE – M & F interlocking joints at the end of each unit and vertical buttresses’ at the rear add to the strength and stability. The weight of each straight unit is 42kg. The ditch channel is 305mm (12ins) wide internally at the base narrower at the top. The top edge is 70mm wide. Rear (impact) face bowls protection is required. Purpose made corner units are included.

County AG

Designed for ’artificial grass’ or Crown greens based on our County Concrete bowls unit in B.S. concrete over a steel reinforcing grid. The front vertical edge has been removed to allow it to be set independently of height against a separately installed concrete edge. The unit is 610mm long, the base is 300mm wide internally and weight is 49kg per unit. Impact absorbing bowls protection material is required for rear face. Purpose made corner units are included.

Club Concrete

Our old design 1992 concrete ditch unit incorporating a steel reinforcing grid. It has a 225mm wide gulley and each unit is 610mm long, weighing 54kg. Impact protection material are required for the rear face. These units are made to order in small quantities for repairs only.

Club GRC

Our old design of Glass Reinforced Cement ditch channels. Each straight is 1m long with a ditch width of 230mm and a tongue and groove joint at each end to ensure alignment. Purpose made corners complete the set. Impact protection materials are required for the rear face. Unit weight 27kg.

Club Concrete Add-ons

Designed to convert greens that have existing low profile concrete channels installed to ensure they conform to the dimensions of the Law. This specially profiled, steel grid reinforced, concrete slab fits over most known units. Attached with Concrete super-glue which adheres with a stronger bond than the original concrete. Rear face protection required and recommended to cover the joint between the two units. Benefits are: no loss of playing time, fitted any time of year and green surface not disturbed. Unit Weight is 35kg. Please check that the height of the add on (39cm) is sufficient to achieve the minimum ditch height.

Black Rubber Dimple

Green Grid Liner

Interwoven PVC lattice matting. The grid size stops Woods but does not allow the Jack to drop through. Set comprises twelve lengths at 13m long (three per side).

Jubilee Liner

Aluminium Access Steps

Manufactured in square section Aluminium with platform and steps covered in a non-slip rubber material. Extendable hardwood legs at rear allow for minor height adjustments to suit most gulley’s. 725mm high x 600mm wide with hand-rail finished in hardwood. 100% lightweight non rusting aluminium.
