Kent based Baylis Landscapes Group, one of the UK’s leading landscape and sportsturf contractors specialising in both natural and synthetic surfaces, has announced the appointment of Justin Rigby as their new Contracts Manager.

Within the Baylis Group of companies is Active Leisure Contracts, who specialise in all sportsturf surfaces – both natural and synthetic. Also within the Baylis Group is fast expanding Artificial Lawn Company, the specialised company bringing alternative grass solutions to both domestic and business users.

Rigby, 39, has a total of 15 years experience within the landscaping sector having previously run his own business for eight years.

Having achieved a Silver Gilt at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in 2006 and Gold at the Suffolk Show during 2001, Justin hopes to bring his vast experience of running large, successful projects and keeping those projects on time and more importantly on budget to the current team at Baylis.

Commenting on his arrival: ‘Within the Baylis Group is the Artificial Lawn Company and they are the largest distributor and installer of artificial grass in the UK.’

Rigby continued ‘I wanted to expand my knowledge within this field of landscaping and what with the change in weather we have been experiencing over the past few years and hosepipe bans affecting us all I believe artificial lawn has its place. I also hope to lead my team of operatives by example and to further achieve the quality and high standards that have become second nature within the Baylis Group.’
